George Glenn Jones was born September 12, 1931, who knew he would become one of the biggest country legends of all time. He was born in Saratoga, Texas and raised in Vidor.

Some of his most memorable hits were, "He Stopped Loving Her Today," White Lightning," and "Who Gonna Fill Their Shoes." He had 14 number one hits.

He was also called the Possum. He will always remain one of the biggest legends in country music history!
