For the past nine years, she’s been helping you hear the best and newest songs in Country Music. We caught up with her recently to learn more about her.
What got you interested in being a DJ?
“When people ask me how I got my job I always tell them God gave it to me. I have a very interesting story. I got into radio by entering a contest. When I entered the contest, it was for a part time position, where I would only work two hours a day. I thought what the heck two hours and some extra money, was not a bad deal. I was never really supposed to be on the radio. I was going to be there promotions person/stunt person. Nine years later who would have thought I would be Brand Manager of the station.”
Many athletes, models and other celebrities are branching out into making movies. If you could cast yourself for a Hollywood movie, what would it be and who would you want to co-star with?
“Cinderella and Prince Charming to be played by Channing Tatum or maybe a Nicholas Sparks movie.”
If you didn’t want to have to make all the appearances or shooting schedules, you could get rich by winning the lottery. If you want millions of dollars, what would you spend it on?
“(Pulls out a list). Well, first thing would be a Range Rover. Second is a really nice vacation. Third is build a home. Fourth is take care of my parents and fifth would be a lot of charity work. I would open a girls home.”
West Texas knows you for your music news and your insight into the latest concerts, but if you weren’t in radio, what do you think you would be doing as a career?
“I would probably be a high school history teacher.”

“All-time favorite, Reba! But you know I love George Strait, Kenny Chesney and Luke Bryan and you can’t forget Sugarland.”
Favorite movie?
“’Armageddon’ and ‘Inventing the Abbots’.”
What are some of the phone apps you can’t get through the day without checking?
“Facebook DUH! LOL and I always play Blitz Jewels and Farkle”
And favorite hobbies?
“Shopping, traveling, football (Go Cowboys, especially Tony Romo) and I love home remodel projects.”
