It’s The First Day Of Spring But Is It Too Early To Plant

The weather has been absolutely beautiful and it appears that is going to stay that way. Today is the first day of spring and winter looks as if it has left us, but is it too early to start planting our spring flowers and gardens?

My Grandpa has always told me to wait until after Easter to plant. I was at Lowes this weekend and it was packed with people buying all kinds of plants and I kept thinking to myself, you people are supposed to wait.

My friends and I were talking over the weekend and she said you are supposed to wait until after the mesquite blooms.

When do you plant? Are there certain things you wait for, are there certain things you watch to bloom?
