Lindsay Ell stars as a former flame in Tim Hicks' "The Worst Kind" video. The two Canadians pair up on the song, which features Ell on guest vocals and guitar.

She's the focus of the music video, too, which begins with Ell staring out a bedroom window as she plays guitar. Reflecting on a former relationship, the video then segues to Hicks as he sits in a living room downstairs and sings of how he's still thinking about her and wondering if they made the right decision to break up.

"Ain't the knock down dragged out breakup / Ain't the pain of a bad goodbye / It's the never knowing baby / Never getting that chance to try / It's the wondering what could've been / That keeps me up at night / Yeah baby that's the worst kind / That's the worst kind," they sing on the chorus alongside soaring guitar parts.

Directed by Ben Knechtel, the video has Ell and Hicks walking through every room of a house searching for each other's ghost. At one point, they're in adjoining rooms with their backs to the same wall as they sing of a difficult breakup.

"Are you seeing me on every street like I'm seeing you / Do you second guess the things you said like I do, 'cause I do," Ell asks.

“The Worst Kind” is the second single from Hicks' latest album New Tattoo. The Canadian Country Music Association Rising Star Award winner recently embarked on his Get Loud Tour which runs through November. Ell, meanwhile, wrapped the Still the Same Tour with Sugarland and is currently on the road as part of Keith Urban's Graffiti U World Tour.

She's also a Taste of Country RISERS top pick.
