No More Winter According to Phil

Saturday was Groundhog Day! It kind of passed us all by being on a Saturday. That didn't didn't stop the stop the patrons of Gobblers Knobb, PA. In fact an estimated number of 20,000 people were attendance to to see if oh Punxsutawney Phil would see his shadow.

Legend has it, that is Phil sees his shadow we are in store for 6 more weeks of winter, but if he doesn't then bring on the spring like temperatures. So for one of only 16 times in history Phil DID NOT see his shadow.

I was so excited to hear this news! I don't like cold weather. I would rather wear shorts and flip flops all year long. I will take heat any day over the cold. So thank you Phil for not seeing your shadow.
