After 17 years in the Permian Basin and 43 years in West Texas, I'm moving to Austin this week to be with my fiancé.  Our wedding is May 15th in Austin and while I'm looking forward to my new adventures, I am reflective  about leaving this place that I've called home for so long.

My fiancé gives me a hard time because I tend to dress in neutral colors.  Black, gray, dark blue, etc.  So I decided to jazz it up with something I've noticed lately...brightly colored socks.
