You just never know who might end up onstage at a Taylor Swift concert. The country-turned-pop superstar surprised fans at a show in Los Angeles on Monday (Aug. 24) by bringing Dixie Chicks lead singer Natalie Maines out to duet with her on one of the trio's biggest hits, "Goodbye Earl."
It was nearly two weeks ago when Ryan Adams tweeted that he planned to cover Taylor Swfts' entire '1989' album, as we reported here, or as you read for yourself - it was, after all, trending on both Facebook and Twitter for about a week.
Last week, Apple announced that it would provide its new streaming audio service for free for three months to all new members. However they weren't going to pay songwriters and artists for those free months of streaming. Taylor Swift wrote an open letter to Apple asking them to change that policy and saying her album 1989 would not be available on the Apple service if they did not change the policy.
