According to ESPN, Tim Duncan chose to exercise his player option and return to the San Antonio spurs for one more season for 10.3 million.

This will mean that Tim Duncan will play his 18th season for the Spurs. The Spurs, as you know, ended their season the best way possible, with a national championship.

During the finals Tim Duncan broke Kareem Abdul-Jabar's record for most minutes played in a play off game.

As a San Antonio Spurs fan, I am definitely glad to hear the news Tim Duncan will return for another season. Duncan, Ginobili, Parker are all entering into the final year of their contracts.
