Eric Church is the latest addition to an e enormous list of all-star 2018 CMA Awards performers. He has not revealed what he'll be playing, but he recently released a new album, Desperate Man, and the title song from that project is his current single.

Luke Bryan has been announced to open the show, performing "What Makes You Country" with a slate of guests who are rising stars.

Aldean and Lambert teamed to record "Drowns the Whiskey," which is nominated for Song, Single and Musical Event of the Year. Brooks had previously stated that he would probably skip performing at the CMA Awards this year if they wouldn't let him debut a brand-new, never-before-heard song for his wife, Trisha Yearwood. Expect the CMA Entertainer of the Year to do just that during the ceremony, as the TBA song is his new single.

The 2018 CMA Awards are set to air live from Nashville on Wednesday, Nov. 14 at 8PM ET on ABC. Underwood and Brad Paisley will return to co-host the program for the eleventh consecutive year. Stapleton leads the 2018 CMA Awards nominees with seven, including Album, Male Vocalist, Song, Single and Entertainer of the Year. Aldean, Lambert, Thomas Rhett, Urban and Dan + Shay each earned four nominations.

Chris Janson earned three nods for New Artist, Music Video and Song of the Year, while familiar artists including Brooks, Blake Shelton and Eric Church were shut out. Kane Brown was also snubbed despite a year that saw him solidify his place as one of the fastest-rising stars in country music.
