Cam recently performed at the Grand Ole Opry, and found it difficult to leave. Literally. The artist posted a photo on Instagram from her show at the iconic venue July 12, sharing with her fans a hilarious moment she and the audience had together when she got stuck on the stage.

Cam says her high heel wedged into the legendary circle from the original Opry stage, which is fixed into the center of the current one.

“I guess there are worse places to get stuck,” Cam quips in the caption, noting that she and the crowd had a laugh about the whole thing.

The singer-songwriter has been on the road with Dierks Bentley as part of his Somewhere on a Beach Tour, performing her latest hit, “Mayday.” The song, which centers around a relationship on the brink of disaster, has an epic video to match, carrying out the flying metaphor with Cam as Amelia Earhart. The artist even received a rare and immensely thoughtful gift after the video was released in honor of her portrayal of the late explorer: a book written by Earhart and signed by the pilot herself.

“WHOA. Absolutely the most generous gift ever,” she wrote on Instagram. “Thank you, Kenny Corbett, for loving the Mayday music video and for trusting me with this treasure. I promise to take care of her and to keep this little light of mine shining, too.”

The song is the second single from her debut full-length record, Untamed, following her mega-hit “Burning House,” for which she was nominated for a Grammy. Her thoughtful and poignant lyrics combined with her standout voice have made Cam one of country’s biggest new stars. She’s slated to perform on the 2016 CMA Music Festival: Country’s Night to Rock special with Lady Antebellum.
