Carrie Underwood is pregnant! The country superstar announced on Wednesday morning (Aug. 8) that she and husband Mike Fisher are expecting their second child.

Underwood used her 2019 tour announcement to reveal her big baby news: The singer shared plans for her Cry Pretty Tour 360, explaining at the end of her social media video that she's waiting until next May to begin her tour because of her pregnancy.

"You might be wondering or asking, 'Carrie, why is your tour starting in May?'" Underwood said as the camera pulled back to reveal balloons spelling out "BABY" above her head. "Well ... yay!"

Underwood and her husband had their first child together in 2015; son Isaiah was born in February of that year. The couple has been married since July of 2010.

"Mike and Isaiah and I are absolutely over the moon and excited to be adding another little fish to our pond," Underwood adds in her video. "We're just so excited, and just so glad you guys can share in this with us and be a part of this with us."

After a busy 2016 spent mostly on tour, Underwood largely stepped away from the spotlight in 2017. The country superstar says it was a year full of reflection -- and some personal struggles: "Life is full of ups and downs," Underwood admits, "and I might have had a few more downs than ups last year."

Underwood is currently preparing for the release of her next album, Cry Pretty; the project is due out on Sept. 14. Also this fall, Underwood will return as the voice of the Sunday Night Football opening theme song and will be co-hosting the 2018 CMA Awards, with Brad Paisley, for the 11th consecutive year. In 2014, Underwood used her co-host Paisley to help reveal Isaiah's sex during their CMA Awards opening monologue.
