First of all let me start out by saying the 53rd Annual ACM Awards shined a lot brighter than the 52nd. Last years show picked up a lot of flack for being way too pop so this year they tried to be as country as they could.

So glad to see Reba black as the host, but I would like to give you my top five moments of the night.

1. Carrie Underwood

Carrie Underwood stole the show last night with her performance of her new single "Cry Pretty." She looked amazing and sounded even better, I was in tears by the end of the song.

2. Kane Brown and Lauren Alaina

What a performance for two people who haven't been in the business long.

3. Toby Keith and Blake Shelton

Their performance of "Should Have Been A Cowboy," was spot on. Those are two guys who should tour together or at least do a song together. And I don't know if you noticed, Toby is someone who can stand shoulder to shoulder with Blake, there aren't many who can.

4.Old Dominion

I was so excited to see Old Dominion win Vocal Group of the Year. I was nice to have a new winner. I assumed Little Big Town would win, I was hoping Lady Antebellum would win because I didn't think Old Dominion would have a chance.

5. Reba and Kelly Clarkson

Blown Away! When the song first started I was saying, please be wearing the dress, please be wearing the dress, and she was. The performance was on point. So glad to hear some of the good old song.

What were your favorite moments of the night.
