Happy Easter

Happy Easter!  Easter just like Christmas is a fun time of year. At Easter we all get together decorate eggs, make a big meal, and hunt Easter eggs. But there is so much more to the meaning of Easter.

I love the holidays, I love to have my family all together, but I am also thankful for my salvation. At Christmas we celebrate the birth of Jesus and at Easter we celebrate His death.

For God  so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten son, that who so ever, believes in Him should not parish but have eternal life.   John 3:16

Thank you Jesus for dying for me. Thank you for the blood that was shed to wash my sins away. Thank you for the stripes that you had to bear, so I could be healed. Thank you for dying so I could be set free!
