Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Why do we celebrate St. Patrick's day? Here is a little history! St. Patrick's Day is a day that celebrates St. Patrick and the arrival of Christianity to Ireland. Celebrations in Ireland usually include parades and festivals.

The use of shamrocks were used in decorating the celebration, as they represented the Holy Trinity.  Christians attended special church services and the restrictions of eating and drinking for Lent are lifted for this one day. This is were drinking became incorporated on St. Patrick's Day!

In honor of St. Patrick's Day I am starting my morning off with a little Irish creme.
