How To Make Your Own Hand Sanitizer

Can't find hand sanitizer , make your own! I did not realize how easy it is to make your own. Maybe this another project you can do with your kids.

According the The Spruce, you only need a few ingredients, actually only two. You will need aloe vera gel and alcohol. You can also spruce it up with some essential oil.

• 2/3 cup 99 percent rubbing alcohol (isopropyl alcohol) or ethanol
• 1/3 cup aloe vera gel
• 8 to 10 drops essential oil, optional

Mix your ingredients in a bowl and bam you have sanitizer.

Some ideas for essential oils you can put in your mixture are clove, thieves or tea tree oil. These oils have all antimicrobial properties. You are only to probably use 1 to 2 drops.
