A photo with the Easter Bunny is a rite of passage for any kid, but for some — like Kelly Clarkson's daughter River Rose — it’s more traumatizing than exciting.

Clarkson posted a photo of River Rose with the jolly rabbit on Sunday (March 27), and the toddler looked terrified and miserable. The singer employed her great sense of humor in the situation, though, and wasn’t too disappointed she didn’t get the perfect photo.

“River loved the Easter Bunny about as much as she loved Santa! Ha!” Clarkson writes with the ironic hashtag #happycamper. Turns out River Rose just isn’t a fan of strangers in costumes holding her for photos.

But Easter wasn’t all bad for the tot. Clarkson shared another photo of her little girl showing off a golden egg she found on an egg hunt alongside her purse and her Easter basket shaped like Dory from the movie Finding Nemo.

There will soon be two kiddos for Santa to hold this year, as Clarkson is expecting a baby boy in the coming weeks. The singer has had a tough pregnancy and is ready to meet her little man, she says, but she was able to travel to perform on American Idol’s final season recently, where she brought judge Keith Urban and many audience members to tears. Her voice broke as she navigated through an emotional performance of “Piece by Piece,” a very personal song she wrote about her broken relationship with her father. She talked about it on Ellen later, calling those few minutes an “emotional slip-n-slide from Hell” with a laugh. As the show’s first winner, Clarkson is slated to appear on Idol’s series' finale episode, where Carrie Underwood and many other country Idol alums are also scheduled to perform.
