Michael Todd’s Country Wrap-Up

Here are some of the things I'm talking about today!

Dan+Shay had a cute way of inviting Kelsea Ballerini on tour with them.  They made a video of themselves singing her new song "Dibs."  Then they asked her if she would come on tour with them.  She accepted and is heading out with them this fall.  Here's a look at that video!

Luke Bryan is getting ready to kick off his seventh annual Farm Tour.  He's just announced the guests on this year's shows.

I'm not saying I have a fixation on Carrie Underwood but here's her new video that features her in short shorts and knee-high boots!

Some opening acts learn how to headline by standing backstage and watching. Frankie Ballard learned by sitting in the audience.  He says, quote, "I learn a lot about what I don't like about going to shows.  "So when I'm [headlining] a concert I can try to eliminate some of that stuff."  One thing he really doesn't like is when it takes 30 minutes in between acts.  Quote, "I'm like, 'All right, man, let's go!'  That's the kind of stuff that bothers me."

Kenny Rogers has announced the dates for his upcoming Christmas tour.  He's about to release a new album, Once Again It's Christmas.  It'll be coming out September 25th.

Willie Nelson and Merle Haggard are doing a tour in support of their Django and Jimmie album.  It kicks off in Florence, South Carolina on October 15th.  Dates are still being added.  You can check for updates here.
