Midland Can Open To 50%

On Wednesday Midland Mayor Patrick Payton said Midland would be "ready to go" for 50 percent occupancy.He says it is important for people to get back to work but do their part to protect themselves and others.

“It’s important for us to remember, we’re getting back to a new and heightened human responsibility, probably more than any other time,” he said. “We’ve all been reminded of how important it is to wash our hands and to pay attention to where we are and what we’re doing to people around us, or what they might be doing to us. It’s not a new day to fear; it is a new day of just paying attention once again to human responsibility.”

That’s really the most effective citation we have -- is that if customers continue to think that their safety is in danger that they will take their business to other places,” he said.
