Randy Travis is becoming a regular at Billy Bob’s in Fort Worth, Texas.

The singer was made a VIP spectator during the 12 Man Jam on Sunday night (Dec. 7). Radio station KPLX-FM, 99.5 the Wolf in Dallas, hosted the event, and Travis posed for the above photo with staff.

That’s the second appearance in two weeks for Travis. Just before Thanksgiving he surprised fans and Joe Nichols at Billy Bob’s. The legend is still struggling to communicate like he once did, and singing seems a long ways off. But there are signs his recovery is progressing. The dream of him taking the stage again one day is still alive 18 months after he suffered a stroke.

Dustin Lynch, Nichols and Rodney Atkins were among the performers at Sunday's show. A photo at the Wolf's Facebook page shows Travis seated comfortably near the front, enjoying the event without the aid of a wheelchair.
