Since I moved into this house in Midland over a year ago, I've gone back and forth about installing a ceiling fan in the living room.  The woman that owned this house before me had eclectic tastes and I liked the unique light fixture that was hanging from the vaulted ceiling.  However, this summer, I've barely gone into the living room because it's just too hot.  I couldn't stand it anymore. One of my favorite haunts in Midland has been Hunan Garden.  It's kind of like the "place where everybody knows your name."

Often times, I don't get to chat about everything happening in the world of country music and that had me thinking I'd make it easy for you to find the stories I talk about on the air. Here are some of the stories I mentioned today.  

While on vacation last week, I decided to get a lot of things done that are hard to do when you're working.  The two cats were due for their shots and check-ups and I had been putting it off for months.

So l spent last Thursday hanging out at home.  About 6pm, I went into the guest room to get a CD.  I noticed something wrong immediately.  As I walked on the carpet...squish, squish, squish!

Whoo boy, what can I say?  It was a long winter.  And then spring hit with all of the rain.  I have done a little work in the back yard but nothing on the front patio.  My grill sits out there, lonely.  My table and chairs have been blown around.   And I have weeds coming up in the flower bed.
