Today Is National Pie Day

Today is National Pie Day and you can get free pie!  One of Midland's newest sweet spots is Buttermilk Sky Pie Shop, and they are offering BOGO pie.

You buy one mini pie and get another mini pie for free. If you go in to the store today you can register for free pie for a year. Buttermilk Sky Pie Shop is located  at the corner of Loop 250 and Midland Dr.

According to National Today the top flavors of pie are:

1.  Apple, 19%.

2.  Pumpkin, 17%.

3.  Chocolate, 16%.

4.  Pecan, 13%.

5.  Cherry, 8%.

6.  Lemon meringue, 6%.

7.  Strawberry, 5%.

8.  Blueberry, 4%.

Out of all of all of those surveyed only 26% of those people make their own pie.
