Watch Your Step

Watch your step! Be aware of your surroundings. With our office being out here in the country we have always been aware of the wildlife that live out here. Sometimes creatures have come a little closer than we would like. But, we haven't seen a snake in a few years.

We always look for rabbits and rats because if they are running around we know the snake population can't be that bad. Well last night Dan Travis learned first hand, you can be surprised at anytime. He was leaving the station and went out the backdoor to find this lovely guy hissing on our back porch.

Definitely not a guy you want to tangle with. I would have turned around come back inside and gone out the front door even if my car was parked in the back.

This is just a warning to all of you out there please be careful of your surroundings.
