The legendary B.B. King passed away last night  at his Las Vegas home. He had recently be hospitalized due to complications from Type 2 Diabetes.

He was a member of both the Rock-N-Roll Hall of Fame and the Blues Foundation Hall of Fame. He was always known for playing his trademarked Gibson guitar named Lucille.

Over a span of 70 years he was awarded 15 Grammy Awards. The first one being awarded in 1970 and the last one in 2009.

I never got the pleasure of seeing B.B. King but I have been to his restuarant/ entertainment house in Memphis. It is such a cool place. The food is great and the entertainment is even better. If you are ever in Memphis and want a great live music experience make sure to stop at B.B King's!
