3 days and 3 nights of the biggest oil & gas industry celebration in Texas is back! Crude Fest 2013 hosted at the Star of Texas Ranch in between Midland and Odessa TX will be held April 11-13 2013.
This year’s festival will boast over 25 Texas country music artists and the Texas state championship barbeque cook-off. Kevin Fowler, Jason Boland & the Stragglers, Roger Creager, Reckless Kelly, Cory Morrow, Cody Canada & The Departed ,and many more are scheduled to perform at the annual event. The event hosts over 60 oil companies from as far away as Houston, TX. Sponsors of the festival are treated to specialty performances, VIP tent access, meet n greets and much more. Event Organizer Cody Baker says “When we decided to create this event here in the Permian Basin, we wanted it to be about the commerce that drives all of us around here and make it a celebration. That is the oil & gas industry. Our main focus is to create a fun and safe place to give our oil field men and women a place to relax and have a good time. ”
Fans of the festival will be able to purchase tickets and camping starting December 1st, 2012 to previous reserved spot holders, and starting Dec 15th spots are open to new campers. People have come from as far away as Canada, Spain, and across the United States to attend the infamous event. Festival organizers urge everyone to reserve camping early, as they are expected to sell out due to limited space.
