Technology Is To Advanced For Me

Last weekend when we were in Memphis we had the pleasure of once again staying at the Peabody Hotel. The Peabody is a luxury historical hotel in downtown Memphis.

The Peabody has recently renovated the rooms and part of the renovations was the locks on the doors. This new lock had me all confused. Some how I could never figure out how to make it work.

I looked like an idiot standing in the hallway waving the card in front of my door like a magic wand. A couple of times of would get it on the first few swipes, but some times it would take me forever.

Can't we just go back to sliding the card in the slot?
