Looking For An Over Water Hotel? Texas Has One!

I have always wanted to stay in a hotel that has overwater bungalows, but I have only seen them in the Caribbean. I had no idea I could find one right here in Texas, but about 5 hours from Midland/Odessa.

I came across this floating hotel on Tiktok and I just had to share it with all of you.

Love and Boat offers your own floating hotel on Lake Ray Hubbard on the Saphire Bay Marina just outside of Dallas. You can book a one-night stay or you can stay up to seven but no longer. They also don't allow children or pets. Booking Love and Boat starts at $390 per night.

What You Can Expect:

Your luxury accommodations come with a one-bedroom queen-sized loft bed and a tiny bathroom that includes a smart toilet and shower. The living room comes with a queen size sofa bed. The living area comes with comfy seating and a fold-out couch.  The kitchen comes with a microwave, an electric cooktop, a Keurig, a Nutribullet, and an electric kettle.  There is a private dining area with lake views. There is also a shared outdoor space that includes an outdoor lounge area, a floating net, kayaks and water bikes, a panoramic sauna, an outdoor kitchen, and a yoga space.

If you don't want to stay the night, you can book their amenities from 2 pm-10 pm for up to 15 people. These bookings start at $390 per day but again, you can take up to 15 people.

I don't know about you, but this sounds like a relaxing getaway to me. I may just have to book a stay.
